Ant Bank (Macao) Mobile App Launches English-Language Services

Macao, September 29, 2026 — Ant Bank (Macao) today announced the launch of English-language services on the Ant Bank mobile app. Starting immediately, Macao residents will be able to choose from and switch between the app’s Chinese and English versions with a single tap. This means that customers can now open an account in as little as one minute and access everyday banking services such as deposits, remittances, and the trading of Hong Kong and US stocks entirely in English.

This upgrade synchronizes the app’s English and Chinese functionalities, with the English version now providing access to Ant Bank (Macao)'s full suite of digital banking products and services. The bank offers HKD, MOP, and USD demand deposits with interest accrued daily, featuring rates of up to 2% for HKD and MOP, and up to 3% for USD. Customers can also open a time deposit with just MOP 100 and enjoy flexible terms, with no penalty for early withdrawal. Deposits are protected under the Deposit Protection Scheme, covering up to MOP 800,000.

Ant Bank (Macao) also offers Hong Kong and US stock trading, odd-lot trading for Hong Kong stocks, customizable conditional orders, US stock options, and pre-market and after-hours trading. These features give customers greater flexibility in managing their investment portfolios.

As Macao's first digital bank to offer fully online banking services, Ant Bank (Macao) is committed to simplifying finance, introducing a number of innovative digital banking services in the region with this very aim.
