Unitree unveils world's first manned transformable robotic vehicle

A real life mecha may be closer than you think.

Unitree has just unveiled the GD01, a manned transformable mecha starting at $650,000.

Billed as the world's first production ready manned mecha, the GD01 can transform, operate as a civilian vehicle, and weighs about 500 kg with a person inside.
